Cookie Policy
Lumera Insights, a Slovak B2B company headquartered in Trnava in the field of web scraping and data analysis (hereinafter referred to as “we” or the “Contractor”), uses cookies and similar technologies on its website www.lumerainsights.com. This Cookie Policy fulfills the information obligations pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and Section 109 of Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, and supplements our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction
This policy describes the types, purposes, providers, storage durations, and legal bases of the cookies used, taking into account purpose limitation and data minimization (Article 5 GDPR) as well as the CJEU rulings C-210/16 (Planet49) and C-673/19 (Schrems II). It applies to all users of our website and is terminologically consistent with the GTC and Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies?

Consent is obtained exclusively via the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (CMP) banner and is logged. Usercentrics processes data exclusively within the EU without transfers to third countries or uses Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46 GDPR).

Non-essential scripts are blocked prior to consent (compliant with applicable requirements since 01.04.2025).

5. Details on Planned Tools
5.1 Web Analytics Tools
Planned analytics tools (e.g., Matomo or Google Analytics, if implemented) collect pseudonymized usage data (page views, time spent, device type) to optimize our B2B services. Data is stored within the EU; no IP addresses are shared with third parties. Opt-in consent is required; withdrawal of consent stops tracking.
5.2 Marketing Cookies
Marketing cookies (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag) are used for personalized advertising targeted at business users. They track cross-site interactions, but only with opt-in consent and in compliance with Article 5 GDPR (data minimization). Storage duration is a maximum of 13 months; withdrawal is possible via the banner link.
